Recently, the finalists list to Effie Awards 2015 Chile, the most prestigious award in global communication industry, have been released. Chery's TV campaign "Vive La Experiencia Chery" was nominated as finalist in two categories: "Line Extension" and "Brand Experience & Engagement", making Chery the only Chinese brand nominated for Effie Awards 2015 and the only Chinese auto brand nominated in this award's 30 years history.


Brazil has always been one of Chery's most important overseas markets. In August 2014, Chery's vehicle plant in Jacarei, Brazil went into production, raised the curtain of Chery's localization in Brazil and provided strong support for enhancing Chery's comprehensive competitiveness in Brazil. On August 3, Chery Brazil organized fan club event for the first time--Super fans of Chery get together in Brazil factory for celebrating the 1st anniversary.
In June 2014, the "Trust on Count on" event which organized by Chery International was held successfully in Brazil. In a week, over 120 guests gathered in Sao Paulo, visited Chery's Brazilian factory and watched the World Cup at the stadium. These special guests included Chery's overseas customers, outstanding overseas distributors, outstanding employees and journalists from 11 countries: Russia, Ukraine, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and China.
On April 20 2014, Chery unveiled two new models of concept cars Concept α and Concept β themed on “Chery Technology, Faithful to Your Trust” on the 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. As the newest models launched by the new R&D system after the transformation, the concept cars released by Chery demonstrate that Chery is maturing in the newest design philosophy as well as design style. Chery is expected to put the cars into mass production in two years.
April 2014, at the "Auto® Design Conference", TX concept grabbed the "Award for Best Auto Design" in 2012. Auto® is Europe's largest and the world's second largest auto design conference.
March 2014, Chery launched Novo Tiggo AT model in Brazil, which is the first Chinese brand AT model in Brazil.


December 11, 2013, Chery and MTS announced to build a joint laboratory. According to the laboratory construction plan, the two sides will, on the basis of strategic partnership, work closely with each other on development and application of engineer testing equipment of vehicle systems and technical researches on simulation testing of vehicle system and parts, etc.
November 5, 2013, Dubai International Motor Show, the largest of its kind in the Middle East, opened at Dubai World Trade Centre. September 19, Chery's distributor held a launch conference in Colombia for Fulwin 2 (Fulwin in Colombia). The Fulwin 2 series launched this time included hatchback and sedan versions, targeting young single and family consumers in Colombia.
On August 14, 2013, Chery officially launched its new model J2 (Fulwin 2) in South Africa.
