Marketing We are looking for a Content Creator who will work closely with the Marketing team to ensure daily effectiveness of the overall marketing for Chery. The candidate will thus, be a key member of the marketing and sales team in ensuring that key outputs are delivered effectively and efficiently. To be successful in this role, the candidate will assist the Chery Marketing Team in areas of content creation and production. The candidate will need a creative skillset that enables them to brainstorm new initiatives in efforts to effectively create and produce the required content. Ultimately, the candidate will ensure that their area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to the company’s success in the long run.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage, produce, and edit photos and videos for marketing purposes.
- Prioritizing of content production.
- Manage camera equipment and accessories.
- Provide creative direction for content.
- Develop a content plan every month.
- Identify shortcomings in current content.
- Provide quarterly strategy for content across various channels.
- Research on industry-related topics.
- Edit and proofread content.
- Ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as requested by Senior Management.
Experience and Qualifications
Requirements:
- Matric.
- Tertiary qualification in photography & videography advantageous.
- 3+ Years’ experience in content creation.
Skills:
- Software – Adobe Creative Suite, Canva.
- Photography & photo editing.
- Videography & video editing.
- Knowledge of camera equipment and attachments needed.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools would be advantageous.
- Time management.
