We are looking for a Warranty Administrator for Chery who will work closely with the Aftersales team to ensure the daily effectiveness of the overall department. The candidate will be a key member of the Chery Aftersales team in ensuring that key outputs in the Warranty department are delivered effectively and efficiently. To be successful in this role, the candidate will assist the Aftersales Department in all areas regarding warranty claims and queries. They will need to have excellent organizational and communication skills that enable them to attend to all warranty claims efficiently and effectively. Ultimately, the candidate will ensure that their area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to the company’s success in the long run.
Duties and Responsibilites
- Processing and reviewing claims in line with OEM WPPM and service plan guidelines.
- Identifying fraudulent claims and reporting them.
- Monitoring and maintaining warranty and service plan documents.
- Keeping up-to-date with company announcements and factory recalls.
- Organizing and maintaining customer and service records.
- Maintaining good relationships with dealers.
- Ensuring timely service plan and warranty payment processing.
- Monthly reporting on claims payments and burn rates.
- Managing warranty cancellations or warnings for late or missed services impacting vehicle service plans and warranties.
Experience and Qualifications
Requirements:
- Matric/Diploma.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
