Promoters Name(s):

The promoter of this competition is WesBank, which is a division of FirstRand Bank Limited with Reg. No. 1929/001225/06 (Chery Finance, a product of WesBank).

In these rules we refer to the above party as the “promoter”. We refer to participants as “you”.

What is the prize?

The prize of this competition is a:TIGGO CROSS COMFORT 1.5 DCT

The promoter shall solely determine the specifications and colour of the prize to be won and the promoter’s decision is final.

Prize conditions:

1. The prize must be collected by the winner in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The prize does not include the costs of travel in order to accept and take delivery of the prize

2. The prize comes with a Service Plan and a warranty detailed below. The winner of the prize accepts all responsibility for ensuring that it abides by the terms and conditions of the Service Plan and the Warranty in order to maintain their validity.

Service plan: 5yr / 60 000km. Warranty: 5yr / 150 000km

3. The standard vehicle warranty and technical details of the prize will be explained to the winner by Chery International (Pty (Ltd))

4. The prize includes a full tank of fuel as well as the cost of registering and the first licencing of the prize, into the winners name. The prize is not transferable to another party.

5. The winner must provide all necessary information and documentation required for the registration and licencing of the vehicle into the Winner’s name.

6. Once the prize is registered in the Winner’s name, the winner takes full responsibility for the prize, including without limiting, insuring the prize.

7. On acceptance of the prize by the winner, all risk in and to the prize transfers to the winner and the promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage or theft of the prize or any requirements or additional costs associated with the prize.

8. Should the winner fail to collect the prize or alternatively fail to take the necessary steps to take possession of the prize by 19 February 2025, the prize will be forfeited and the winner will have no claim for damages or any other claim whatsoever, arising from such forfeit against the promoter or its directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors and sponsors.

9. The winner must produce both their latest Smart ID Card / ID Book and valid Driving Licence or those of the winner’s nominated driver if the winner does not have a valid Driving Licence.

Prize images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual prize and the promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied by any third party connected with this competition.

The promoter does not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressively or implicitly, as to the prize and makes no representations and gives no warranty that your entry will necessarily result in you winning the prize or that such prize, should you win, will be satisfactory, punctual, free from any defects, safe or reliable.

Subject to the law, the promoter will not be responsible for any harm, damage, loss or claim relating to the provision of any element of a prize or any changes to a prize that may be made at any time.

Entries open and close:

Entries open on 01 November 2024 at 06h00

Entries close on 31 January 2025 at 19h00.

How to enter and who can take part?

You will automatically be entered into the competition when you purchase a new Chery vehicle and finance the vehicle with Chery Finance, a product of WesBank, during the competition period (1st November 2024 to 31st January 2025) and you have accepted a Debi-check mandate which aligns your repayment for the vehicle to your salary date/income date.

In addition, the finance account referred to above must not have been early settled and all of your WesBank accounts must be up to date for the duration of the competition.

Who cannot take part?

The following persons may not take part in this competition even if they qualify to take part. They will forfeit (give up) any prizes awarded to them:

• Any employee of the promoter.
• Any director, member, partner, agent of, or consultant of the promoter.
• Any other person who directly or indirectly controls the promoter.
• Any supplier of goods and services in connection with this competition.
• The spouse, life partner, siblings, children, or parents of any of the persons named above.
• Any person whose accounts and credit agreements with WesBank, FNB, or FirstRand Bank Limited are not in good standing. This includes accounts that are overdrawn, in arrears, or in default, or are subject to any legal processes such as collections, liquidation, or sequestration proceedings (excluding debt review under S86 of the National Credit Act 2005).

Is there a limit on the number of times you can enter?

Entries are limited to one entry per person who qualifies within the competition rules.

How will the winner be chosen?

The winner will be selected systematically by random draw from all eligible entries received before the closing date and time.

When will the winner be drawn and announced?

The draw will take place, and the winner will be announced on www.chery.co.za on 05 February 2025.

Deadline for claiming the prize:

19 February 2025

How will winners be notified?

The promoter will attempt to contact you via telephone within two weeks of the draw. If you cannot be reached after three attempts, the promoter reserves the right to draw a replacement winner.

The replacement winner will be selected by way of a systematic random draw that will take place on 20 February 2025. The deadline for claiming the prize for any replacement winner will be 05 March 2025.

The winner will be required to provide their personal details and sign documentation required by law to effect the registration, licensing, and handover of the prize.

Note: The winner may be asked to take part in publicity for the competition; however, participation is voluntary.

Disqualifications from entry:

The promoters reserve the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud or cheating, including but not limited to manipulating code or falsifying data. Participants who pass away during the competition period or up to the draw date will also be disqualified.
