Chery Auto will be hosting the 2023 Chery International User Summit in Wuhu, China from 15 to 20 October.

With this exciting and unique event, Chery will be bringing together Chery customers from across the planet, celebrity bloggers and influencers as well as the global mainstream media to experience, explore and help develop Chery’s new user ecosystem.

The ecosystem will encompass the three major brand themes of new ecology, new technology and a new future. The brand’s most important concepts such as its green aspirations, pursuit of premium technology and desire to resonate with families and those seeking community; will all be reflected in the development of the new ecosystem.

A heavy emphasis will be placed on co-creating with their customers and other smart life partners by listening to their needs, understanding new lifestyle demands in the light of smart technology and seeing how different user-energy possibilities line up with Chery’s brand value and vision.

With a focus on pioneering state-of-the-art technology, Chery aims to create an innovative two-way conversation between brand and user that will ultimately also bring about future public welfare, create beauty, mutual benefits and win-win results for all stakeholders.

As automakers frantically seek ways to incorporate concepts such as dual carbon, green travel and energy efficiency into their new energy vehicles, Chery also aims to use the summit to take the lead in this arena.

New PHEVs at Qatar GIMS

Chery hinted to its green intentions and the Chery International User Summit at its recent launch event in Qatar.

The brand was a headline attraction at the Geneva International Motor Show in Qatar, which was opened on 5 October and will run until the end of this week. It launched two new global models and showed visitors the newest iteration of its 3-engine efficient powertrain.

The two new models were the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Plug-in Hybrid and the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Plug-in Hybrid.

These two models use an ultra-clean burning internal combustion engine and the newest iteration of its hybrid system to truly offer the best of all worlds. This includes battery system that gives both PHEV models an electric-only range of 95 km and a combined petrol-and-electric range of 950 km.

This new generation PHEV models will be available globally in due course and it further advances Chery’s goal of developing internal combustion engines, hybrid, pure-electric and hydrogen technologies.

Committed to green travel

To show its commitment to empowering green travel through technological innovation, something it already hinted at the Shanghai Auto show earlier this year with its “8023” Plan and Green Public Welfare Fund, Chery will implement these initiatives by signing agreements with UNICEF (United Nations Childrens Emergency Fund) and with IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).

Through these agreements, Chery will endeavour to help with food security, clean water, health and education for children in impoverished countries. Simultaneously, it will offer nature-friendly solutions for the protection of global forests, oceans, wetlands and wildlife as part of Chery’s public welfare initiative and its commitment to global green sustainable development.

Over a period of 26 years, Chery’s green conscience has deeply become part of everything it does, which is manifested in pollution prevention, energy conservation, clean production and green manufacturing.

This took the company from being “Chery in Wuhu, to Chery in the World”. Now the brand’s ambition is to turn Wuhu into an eco-city through Chery’s many innovations in this field. This initiative will be launched during the conference with a mass public ride event to demonstrate how Chery’s many green-friendly products will start a new trend of green living and working together to create a more beautiful and healthier global environment.
